In 2019 Shoosmiths launched spHERe, a network which supports women in venture capital. Open to all women and men, founders or venture capitalists, our goal is to help women to be successful through building and maintaining a strong community to support one another. Through providing more meaningful networking opportunities within the VC space we help to close the gender gap that exists. Our partnership with The Gender Index has helped us to shine a light on the slow progress that the VC world is making and highlighted where there is room for improvement. Through supporting the industries’ female players and providing an open platform for discussion around key issues we will continue to support positive change.
