Wayne Thomson is a Manufacturing Specialist at TechnipFMC’s Dunfermline facility.
Wayne has responsibility for the Dunfermline site’s manufacturing technology roadmap. He is the lead for Manufacturing Digitalisation and is responsible for the deployment of a Manufacturing Execution System in the Dunfermline facility as well as supporting the definition and deployment of the system globally.
Wayne has worked in a Production environment for over 20 years in various roles and holds apprenticeships in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and Management. He also holds an MSc in Manufacturing Leadership from Lancaster University.
Wayne has helped to define what Industry 4.0 means for TechnipFMC Dunfermline facility through his work on the creation of the company’s manufacturing technology roadmap.
