Matt founded Carbon Dynamic 10 years ago with the mission of delivering social, environmental and industry impact and was responsible for the rapid growth and development of the business during this time. Matt’s passion for innovation and holistic approach to balancing technical and engineering evolution with design and manufacturing delivery has enabled the business to be a destination for clients with technically challenging innovative projects. Matt has led on the digital strategy for the business including the pioneering work delivered in VR and AR. He co-developed the FitHome, a technologically enabled assisted living housing solution incorporating AI predictive analytics to improve tenants’ health outcome. More recently Matt led the CD delivery of the Social Bite Homeless village and the Dyson student village – a project involving 3 storey stacks of cantilevering pods which enabled significant advances in timber technology. Matt has led the close working relationship between Carbon Dynamic and Napier University’s beX student programme.
