I love nature and passionate about engineering solutions to address global challenges such as food waste.

I hold a PhD in Environmental Engineering with research interest in the use of Artificial Intelligence and Omics analysis to optimise Anaerobic processes.
I sit on the board of FirstPort an organisation focused on supporting Social Enterprise in Scotland and beyond. I am a member of the Scottish Government Purpose Led Business Commission.

As the Founder and CEO of IntelliDigest Ltd, I am leading IntelliDigest on a mission to empower global food sustainability, eliminate food waste, zero hunger and improve access to nutrition for everyone through technology innovation and capacity building.
My current focus is in the application of cutting edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Enzyme Engineering, green chemistry, blockchain and quantum computing to make the food system more sustainable by eliminating edible food waste and converting inedible food waste at the earliest possible time to bio-nutrients and sustainable chemicals for the food system.
In the area of capacity building, we are developing a Food Industry Sustainability Index to help businesses in the food sector set a baseline as we transition to a more sustainable economy with a focus on the key pillars of sustainability – Peace, Partnership, People, Planet and Prosperity.
Our Plan to Save campaign is driving change in consumer behaviour to food and impact on the their health and environment while our Agrifood TechPreneur Club is enabling more young people t lead the transition to a more sustainable food system through access to capacity building (Entrepreneurial and relevant skill) and finance.
