Dr Faisal Ghani is CEO and Founder of SolarisKit Ltd, a Scottish cleantech company on a mission to provide affordable, clean energy to both developing and industrialised economies. SolarisKit has developed a new, low-cost, flat-packable solar thermal collector which converts sunlight into hot water to meet the needs of households and businesses. With over 5bn people living in the developing economies who carbon emissions exceed those produced from the industrialised nations, Faisal believes clean energy solutions need to be affordable, practical and widely scalable to make real global impact. Faisal is a chartered mechanical engineer and currently an Enterprise Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
