Dane is the founding director of the leading housing environmental monitoring company iOpt. iOpt uses environmental monitoring data to help providers of large scale housing such as councils and housing associations to protect both their assets and their tenants from poor environmental conditions.
Dane comes from a background of asset monitoring in everything from Aston Martins to commercial aircraft. He started iOpt in 2016 when a local council approached him to see if the systems and technology used in electricity distribution grid monitoring would be transferable to monitor housing.
When he is not working Dane likes to get into the outdoors to go sailing or into the mountains with friends and family.
